Clifford Vann, 50, of Chewey, Oklahoma, died December 12, 2009, at his home. Born, December 30, 1958, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, he was the son of Willie Vann and Willie Mae (Hogshooter) Vann. Clifford graduated from Westville High School in 1977 and enjoyed hunting fishing, riding horses, football and loved to meet people and hanging out with his brother, Adam. He worked as a carpenter most of his life.

            He was preceded in death by one son, Clifton Brian “Buddy” Vann and his grandmother, Lydia Vann.

            Survivors include his father Willie and mother Willie Mae (Hogshooter) Vann, of Chewey, Oklahoma; one son, Tyler “Chevy” Vann of Chewey, Oklahoma; one grandson, Jakobe Brian Vann of Kansas, Oklahoma; three brothers, Cecil Vann and wife Sherri of Oaks, Oklahoma, Adam Vann and wife Carol of Oaks , Oklahoma, and Daniel Vann and wife Tina of Colcord, Oklahoma; three sisters, Rosie Young and husband Steve of Chewey, Oklahoma, Christina Fixin and husband Gerald of Oaks, Oklahoma and Joyce Ketcher and husband Albert of Kansas, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

            Pallbearers will be Donald “Duckie” Russell, Kerry Whaler, David “Bummy” Russell, Johnny Manning, Eric Vann, Daylen Clouse. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Vann, Adam Vann, Daniel Vann, and Chris Vann.

            Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Soul’s Harbor Church, Chewey, Oklahoma, with Rev. Gerald Fixin officiating. Burial will follow at Crittenden Cemetery, Adair County, Oklahoma.   Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
