Mr. Robert Glenn "Bob" Haddock, 80, of Grove, Oklahoma departed this life on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri after a long illness.

Bob entered this life on August 27, 1931 in Anderson, Missouri one of six children born to the late Cecil Ray and Wilma Neoma (Robertson) Haddock. He was raised in McDonald County Missouri and was a 1949 graduate of Rocky Comfort High School. On May 5, 1951 he was united in marriage to Ruby Baker and to this union six sons and one daughter were born. In 1965 they moved their family to Claremore, Oklahoma. Bob was a mechanic for American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma retiring in 1978. He and Ruby have resided in Grove, Oklahoma since 1981. He enjoyed boats, motorcycles and restoring old cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ray Haddock; a granddaughter, Shawna Berry; three sisters, Dorthea Parvin, Barbara Bartley and Sharon Kaye Midoux; and one brother, Leroy Haddock.

Bob is survived by his wife of sixty years, Ruby Haddock of the home; one daughter, Sheryl Bunyard of Grove, Oklahoma; five sons, Terry Haddock and wife, Marolyn of Claremore, Oklahoma, Rick Haddock and wife, Reah, of Clarksville, Tennessee, Ron Haddock and wife, Bertha, of Grove, Oklahoma, Troy Haddock of Grove, Oklahoma and Tracy Haddock also of Grove; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Neoma Schlessman and husband, Junior, of Anderson, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Haddock are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor David Munoz officiating. Burial will follow in the Tracy Cemetery east of Anderson, Missouri. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Rusty Schlessman, Mike Schlessman, Randy Bartley, Jason McIntosh, John Haddock and Rex Baker. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
