AUGUST 8, 1938 - JULY 9, 2008

GROVE - Jimmy L. Robinson, age 69, of Grove, Okla., passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at St. Johnís Regional Medical Center, following an illness.

Jimmy was born on August 8, 1938, in Hockerville, Okla., the son of the late John and Dorothy Robinson. He worked as a welder for Ornamental Iron and also, as a self-employed welder. He played the rhythm guitar and the bass guitar. He enjoyed fishing and living on the lake.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Rita Robinson, Grove, Okla.; two sons, Jerry Truelove and wife Terri, Houston, Tx., and Jimmy Robinson, Jr., Grove, Okla.; five daughters, Cindy Maute, Commerce, Okla., Darla Sajulga, Miami, Okla., Kim James and husband Wayne, Miami, Okla., Tawnya Frost and husband Marvin, Joplin, Mo., and Michelle Robinson, Pittsburg, Ks.; one brother, David Robinson, of Alabama; five sisters, Clara Mae Brown, Columbus, Ks., Linda McCeland, Henryetta, Okla., Joan Ekstrom, Sue Smith, and Mary Carpenter, all of California; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Robinson.

Jimmy will be cremated with a Memorial service to beheld on August 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Life Family Worship Center in Grove, Okalahoma.
