The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the Leadership Grove Class of 2013-14.

Participants are Lisa Allred, City of Grove; Hoyit Bacon, individual; Janet Bedford, Premier Consulting Partners; Rocky DeSilva, City of Grove Fire Department; Kelsie Geister, Grand Savings Bank; Michael Gordon, Public Service Company of Oklahoma; Susie Holden, individual; Connie King, Grove Area Chamber of Commerce; Brent Malone, Precision Wireless Internet; Kim O’Neal, Best Western TimberRidge Inn; Kelsey Rhine, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital; Stephen Schaudt, Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home; Brian Schwartz, Jeff Lungren Chevrolet, Inc; and Bessy Weisinger, Arvest Bank.

Leadership Grove is a leadership development and community awareness program designed to provide community leaders with a deeper understanding of the critical issues affecting the Grove area.

The program provides an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Grove area.

The program, which began Sept. 19, includes eight sessions. Topics to be covered include community leadership, education, quality of life, city and state government, industry and health care. In addition, participants will tour a variety of facilities in Grove and attend County and City meetings.
