JAY – Delaware County Commissioners handled a light agenda that included bids, funds, and purchase orders during their meeting held Monday morning.
Bids will be advertised for ballots for the Delaware County Election Board, six month road materials for the commissioners and solid waste and cleaning supplies/paper products for the sheriff’s department, commissioners, solid waste and the courthouse.
Two bids were opened and reviewed on the purchase of bunker gear for the Bernice Fire Department. Bids will be reviewed with possible acceptance by the department during next weeks commissioner’s meeting.
Funds were transferred in the amount of $96.36 for the County Clerk’s office form their lien fee account to their maintenance and operation account. Funds were transferred for the highway cash account into the Car Creek Bridge account for district #1 in the amount of $3,190.
Blanket purchase orders for the Delaware County sheriff’s in the amount of $3,000 for automobile repair and district #2 received a blanket purchase order for $8,000 to be used at Cabin Diesel for equipment repairs.
In final business Monday morning:
• Commissioners entered into a federal aid project agreement concerning the Cherokee Creek Bridge in district #3.
• The board received and filed the official certificate of votes of the general election dated Nov. 2, 2010.
• Office equipment will be salvaged or junked for the Delaware County Health Department.
The next meeting of the Delaware County Commissioners will be held on Mon., Nov. 22 starting at 9 a.m. in the commissioners office of the Delaware County Courthouse.
