Grove Early Childhood Development Center students were treated to a fun and educational tour of Grove Dental Associates’ office in recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month, recently.

Two groups of kindergarten and pre-K students, one hundred and forty in all, participated in the field trip on February 8th. They were introduced to the dentists and staff, including Drs. Stan and Audrey Crawford, Dr. Rick Miller, Melissa and Hannah Brown, Melanie Crowder, Lorrie Reppart, and Alana and Deborah Stauss.

Students were taught the importance of caring for their teeth and shown proper brushing and eating habits. Not only did they enjoy story time and watching videos, they were allowed to play with some of the “cool” dental tools. To top it all off, they braved the cold weather to see the pond and feed the koi fish.

Best of all, according to staff, the young students learned that going to the dentist can be fun.
