There is still time to enter a float in the Annual Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade.
For many years, the parade has brought delight and holiday cheer to area residents.
On December 12th the tradition continues as the streets fill with familiar holiday songs, colorful floats, marching bands and much more.
The parade route will once again begin at the Grove Civic Center, head down Main Street to Third and conclude at Cheapo Depot.
Any location along the route will provide you a perfect view of the parade.
“We are looking forward to another successful parade,” said Joey Latham, Chairman of the annual event.
Larry Hestand with KGVE and Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Ivan Devitt will be providing the commentary directly in front of the Community Center.
Anyone who would like to enter a unit in the parade may call or stop by the Chamber office to request a form.
All entries are required to utilize lights on their entries. And please remember – the Chamber will be providing Santa.
Plaques will be awarded in the following categories: Best Professionally Built Float, Best Centennial Theme Float, Best Business Float, Best Band and Best Church or Organization.
Find a spot on the parade route early and join the community for an exciting evening.
