JAY/ A long-time former city employee who was fired after she confronted city leaders about missing money has filed a notice of claim against the community. Edna Mae Gibe filed the notice of tort claim on June 24 saying she was fired

Aug. 6, 2010 for telling her supervisor, Pat Hughes, money was missing from the utility collections, the claim states. Gibe states in her claim she was terminated from her position of 25 years for being a whistle-blower and is seeking $460,000.
