Kent Ketcher has won the election for the office of Mayor of the City of Miami. 2452 voters came out to the polls with 1314 or 56% voting for Ketcher and 1039 for Councilman Scott Trussler, who received 44% of the vote.

In Commerce, voters overwhelmingly voted down the mayor's proposition to make the town clerk an appointed position, by 73 votes to 25.
