A heat advisory remains in effect from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday.  The National Weather Service forecasts the weather will be sunny and hot, with a high near 102. Heat index values will be as high as 106. South southwest wind will be between 10 and 15 mph.

 

Cooler temperatures will move into the area and stay for the next week with temperatures expected to stay in the mid to low nineties during the day.  Night time lows will be in the sixties.
