On September 11th about 130 law enforcement officers, firefighters and medical personnel mounted their motorcycles and made a “Grand” procession around the lake in honor of American heroes.

The “Fallen Heroes Ride,” stopped at the Grove Civic Center around 1:00 p.m. Friday for a short presentation by the Grove Civil Air Patrol Color Guard and a public address by Mayor Gary Bishop.

Grove elementary students attended the ceremony, which was a tribute to the heroes of 9/11 and the military personnel who are now serving overseas.

The procession left Ketchum Airport at noon and traveled to Grove.

From Grove, it proceeded to the Jay elementary schools and attended a presentation.

After Jay, the motorcycle riders went to Disney at and stopped at the dam. They crossed the dam around 4:30 with fireboats shooting streams of water in their honor.
