DELAWARE COUNTY - It's Fair time again folks and this year will be bigger and better with the addition of several events that will be held in conjunction with the Delaware County Fair.

This year FarmFest as well as the 3rd Annual Road Kill Chili Cookoff will be held during Saturday's events at the Delaware County Fairgrounds located south of Jay on Hwy. 59.

The fair is set for Sept. 2-6 and will include FarmFest from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and the chili cookoff starting at 11 and ending at 1 p.m. Both events are sponsored by the Jay Chamber of Commerce. The Roughstock Rodeo starts at 8 p.m. that night.

There is a change this year for people interested in entering open items and/or baked goods and flowers.

In the past all open class items were taken in on Wednesday - This year the Open Class Exhibits, except for the baked goods and flowers, will be entered on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 p.m. and then will be judged on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
