Grove third graders enjoyed the warm weather Tuesday as they commemorated National Arbor Day.

Teresa Dugan of Royal Acres Tree Service was on hand to give the students a lesson about planting and caring for trees.

Dugan donated a Red Sunset Maple, which she and a group of enthusiastic third-graders planted on the school grounds.

This week is National Arbor Week, and Mrs. Cash’s science lower elementary classes will be learning about trees all week.
