JAY ó A Delaware County man charged with making a terrorism hoax failed to show up for a court hearing prompting an outstanding warrant to be issued for his arrest and his bail doubled to $20,000.

William Michael Armstrong, 18, of Grove, was scheduled to appear in Delaware County District Court in Jay on Sept. 2 for his arraignment.

He and Andrew Jonathan Torres, 22, of Grove were charged in June with two counts of making a terrorism hoax. Both men confessed to authorities they called the Grove Police Department on June 4 and June 10, stating there was a bomb at the Integris Grove General Hospitalís construction site.

Torres entered a no contest plea and was found guilty in August and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Both men said the calls were a prank and Torres who was an employee for a subcontractor at the construction site said he wanted out of work, according to an arrest affidavit.
