The Grove Municipal Services Authority will be discussing several water-related issues in their 4:30 p.m. meeting today.
Water tank demolition and the construction of lift stations will be the primary items on the agenda.
The Authority will be discussing bids for the demolition, removal and disposal of two water storage tanks, an elevated tank on Highway 59N, and the South Honey Creek ground storage unit.
They will also be acknowledging receipt of a permit from the Department of Environmental Quality for the construction of four grinder pump lift stations and 431 feet of one-and-a-half inch main line that will serve the Wolf Creek Estate area.
The Grove City Council will also be meeting at 6 p.m., with an abbreviated agenda.
Primary on the agenda is possible action regarding bids received for supplying trees and shrubs in conjunction with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Tree Grant Project.
The council will also discuss a possible amendment to the utilities section of the Code of Ordinances regarding abandoned utility services.
