JAY – A former Jay school’s custodian has been accused of having sexual relations with a 17 year-old student.

Adam Wolfe, 45, stands accused of having sexual intercourse, sodomizing and sexually abusing a, then 16 year-old, Jay student in the art classroom, computer/tech classroom and the custodial office, according to the affidavit for arrest filed by Jay Police Officer Dave Rathbone.

Wolfe could face charges of 4 counts of second degree rape, 6 counts of rape by instrumentation, 4 counts of forcible sodomy, and 8 counts of sexual battery.

In the affidavit, the girl contacted Officer Rathbone and told him she was having an inappropriate relationship with Wolfe that started out as a friendship, but later changed to sexual the week before Christmas break in 2009.

When confronted with the accusations, Wolfe confessed to the claims and told Officer Rathbone, “she just makes him weak and he’s unable to resist her”.

Wolfe has been taken into custody on June 2 and remains incarcerated in the Delaware County Jail on a $703,000 bond.
