Charles Banks Wilson,renowned American artist, has died at the age of 94. Wilson was born in Arkansas and his family moved to Miami where he spent his childhood, lived and painted in his studio here for many years.

Wilson's art work has been displayed in exhibits and galleries across the United States and the world, including the Metropolitan Museum, the Smithsonian, and Library of Congress, as well as works hanging in the Capitol Building of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Wilson is best known for his his paintings, prints, and hand-pulled lithographs of American Indians, horses, and western characters and landscapes.
