The volunteers of the Grove Hospital Auxiliary will be giving away $75,000 plus interest to the INTEGRIS Grove Hospital Foundation Board in a ceremony on Monday, July 18 at 12:15 a.m.
Where did the Volunteers get that kind of money? Through monies generated through their fantastic Gift Shop, Flower Department, and various fund raisers – gift wrapping, sale of angels, book fairs, bake sales – whatever they could do. It has been the largest gift the Auxiliary has given the hospital to date.
Five years ago the volunteers pledged the total of $75,000 over a period of five years towards the construction of the new hospital. It has been five years since that pledge was made, and they are ready to give it away.
Invitations are being sent to members of the Hospital Foundation Board, Hospital Governing Board, Medical Staff, Volunteers, and Employees. The news media has been notified, and the Auxiliary wants everyone to know what they have accomplished. The public is invited to the Atrium (just off the main lobby) of the INTEGRIS Grove Hospital Monday, July 18. They will be giving away the big check at 12:15, so mark it on your calendar and come help the volunteers celebrate what they have done for the Hospital. The Volunteers are proud of what they have accomplished.
