JAY - A former Grove city employee pleaded no contest to burglary charges and received a five-year deferred sentence, court officials said Friday.

Marty Yust, 30, of Cleora, pleaded no contest in Delaware County District Court in Jay to second-degree burglary and petit larceny. He was also fined $500 and ordered to pay back $1,198.67 in restitution.

A former Grove Municipal Services Authority employee Yust confessed to stealing the money from secured desk drawers and filing cabinets and a donation box.
