A grass fire on Highway 10 was apparently started by a garbage bag filled with evidence of a shake and bake meth lab. Grove and Cowskin Fire Departments responded to a call of a grass fire one mile north of Bryant’s Corner on Highway 10. The reporting party stated that someone threw out a white bag of thrash that seemed to have started the fire. Responding fire fighters called Delaware County Sheriffs to investigate the remains of the garbage. According to Captain Ron Teel, the garbage is in fact evidence of shake and bake. Teel stated that they are investing and expect to have an arrest soon. “This is exactly how the community can help us. By calling in something suspicious, just like the person who called this in did.” See more of this story in The Grove Sun Friday edition.
