A two boat accident on Grand Lake Saturday caused minor injuries and little damage.

Two men in a boat were fishing when they saw a boat coming toward their lines.  They tried avoid a collision and turned their boat out of the way without seeing that another red bass boat that was heading their way.  The fishermen accidentally drove over the bow of the red bass boat which had five passengers on board.

Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA)  Patrolman Scott Cox transferred some of  those in the accident in a GRDA boat to Royal Bay Marina where victims were examined by Grove fire First responders.

Both boats were able to drive to the marina on their own.

All seven involved in the accident refused ambulance transport.  The owner of the boat that got hit said he is "Okay, just a little shaken up."

Grove Fire Department and Quapaw Tribe Fire and EMS were on scene to examine the victims.  Grove Police assisted with the investigation.
