OKLAHOMA CITY – A contract was awarded this month to improve the drive on US-60 in Delaware County, State Sen. Charles Wyrick and State Rep. Doug Cox announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), the project involves resurfacing US-60 from SH-85 in Delaware County north to US-59 in Ottawa County.
Sen. Wyrick, D-Fairland, said the State Transportation Commission awarded a contract for just over $1 million to Glover & Associates, Inc. The Muskogee company was the lowest of three bidders for the job, said Rep. Cox, R-Grove.
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed by July 31.
