The annual Festival of Trees will be at the Coleman Theatre Ballroom this year on Friday, December 2 starting at 6 p.m. It will feature the traditional display of fabulously decorated Christmas trees and wreaths available for sale at their auction conducted by J.B. Robison.
"This year will be better than ever," Executive Director Deedee Cox said.
"The Ballroom is spectacular and the event will be the fanciest we have ever done."
The meal will be catered by Sodexo in Miami and will be an elegant assortment including a standing prime rib carved by the chef. Beer and wine will be included in the meal and there will be a cash bar.
The live auction will be limited to only eight items to keep the evening moving and to accommodate the smaller, more elegant space.
The evening begins with the viewing of trees and other items. Tickets are $125 each.
All proceeds go to benefit the Community Crisis Center, Inc. which serves victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
