The victim of a teenage shooting has died at a Tulsa hospital this morning just before noon.
The 16 year-old Afton student, was shot by 18-year old Jazmine Flynn, and died as a result of gun shot wounds inflicted during an argument Thursday evening. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
According to authorities, Flynn is the mother of the couple's 8-month old baby and the two shared a relationship.
She came to the victim's home and shot him before turning the gun on herself, according to investigators. She was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation indicated that the teens had broken up and she shot her ex-boyfriend in a jealous rage.
The home is located on the Ottawa/Delaware County line in the Afton area. Police were called to the home at around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon after he boys mother discovered Flynn and her son lying in the roadway and called emergency personnel.
It has not been determined whether Flynn was under the influence of any known substances. "We won't know if she was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol pending results from the medical examiners office," said Delaware County Sheriff's Captain Ron Teel.
