In 1998, Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative, Inc. launched OperationRound-Up – a program that is funded by our members and distributed every twomonths by a nine-member board of directors.

The way it works is simple. Participating members voluntarily permit theirmonthly electric bills to be rounded up to the nearest dollar. Monies generated from this program are then allocated to the Operation Round-Up Trust Foundation.

Recipients of these funds include organizations and individuals from across the cooperative’s four-county service territory who meet the qualifications for application set forth by program guidelines.

Operation Round-Up has allowed needy individuals to cover outstanding medical expenses or purchase medical supplies when insurance was depleted.
