JAY – Four Grove people have been arrested for manufacturing methamphetamines after drug task force officers found items used to “cook” meth in a Port Duncan home Monday night.
Larry Michael Felton Jr., 32, Danielle Lynn Burrow, 21, Bradley James Kelly, 27, and Jesse Ray Stroud, 26, were arrested after Delaware County Sheriff’s Captain Ron Teel received information that there was possible drug activity going on at 45 Circle Drive, Port Duncan on Monkey Island, the residence of Felton and Burrow.
Investigator Mike Eason, District Attorney Drug Task Force officer with District #13, and sheriff’s deputies Mark Berry and Michael Lanning, searched the residence,
The couple was subject to search without a warrant as they are currently on probation.
During the search, officers discovered items used to manufacture methamphetamines, items used in the use of methamphetamines a substance that field-tested positive for meth residue, and marijuana, according to the probable cause affidavit signed by Captain Teel.
Kelly and Stroud were also at the residence and admitted that they, along with Burrow had purchased pseudoephedrine on August 1 and given the medicine to Felton to be used in making the drug.
The four were arrested and transported to the Delaware County Jail.
A background check on Felton showed that he was out of jail on bond from an earlier arrest for manufacturing methamphetamines in June of this year.
A background check on Kelly showed he had prior felony convictions from Ottawa County for domestic abuse and grand larceny and assault and battery charges in Delaware County.
Felton could be charged with maintaining a dwelling for the use and selling of a controlled dangerous substance along with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Burrow, Kelly and Stroud could face charges of manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance., possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Bond has been set at $100,000 on Burrow, Kelly and Stroud. Felton’s bond has been set at $132,000.00 during arraignments Tuesday morning.
