Tad Jones

Executive Director Grand Lake Association

Did you know that 100,000 copies of the Grand Lake Guide are distributed all over the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and many other countries?†

The Grand Lake Association also distributes the guides to marinas, lodges, boat dealers, food establishments, antique malls, retail establishments, banks, RV resorts, real estate agencies, family reunion packets, festivals & event packets, home and garden shows, boat shows, travel shows, womenís shows, convenience stores, doctorís offices, area tourist attractions, hotels, motels and casinos in the four-county area as well as Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.

The Grand Lake Guides will be distributed 365 days of the year. With an average of 834 guides a month or 10,000 Guides a year sent out through GLAís fulfillment center with the Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department and Travel OK.†

This does not include all the guides that are mailed out through the Visitor Center located on Highway 59 North in Grove and all the State Visitor Guides that are located in the four-county area.

†GLA has also launched a 21st Century website that will compliment the Visitorís Guide.† Visitors to the site will be able to easily order the guides and GLA is even considering digitizing the Visitorís Guide to make it even easier for people to see an advertisement.

The guides will go to print in December and GLA will spend the next few months getting layouts for the pages.†

Even though the world is getting more digital, a hard copy Visitorís Guide is still highly requested and is an important part of the associationís mission.†

If you are interested in being listed in or putting an ad in the 2011 Visitorís Guide, please contact GLA anytime at info@glaok.com or call them at 918-786-2289.
