FAIRLAND-Town trustees voted to use community funds to pay for fencing a portion of Bush Park.

During a regular town meeting held Thursday that lasted 25 minutes, the trustees approved up to $5,000 for fencing and installation.  During October’s meeting, trustee approved constructing a fence partially around the east and west sides of Bush Park and a gate on the north side of the park.

In the Public Works Authority meeting, the trustees approved up to $4,200 to purchase a pipe locator for the gas service.

In other business, the Fire Department announced the community Christmas Parade is set for November 29 at 1 p.m.
