GROVE - Two Delaware County men were killed and another injured in a traffic crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Sunday.
Dead are Justin C. Kyman, 20, of Jay and Trenton Clay Crawford, 20, of Grove.
The two men were killed after a pickup driven by Kyman crashed into a tree and overturned on a rural Delaware County road at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, two miles south and four miles east of Grove.
Also injured in the crash was Joshua Ryan Langston, 21, of Jay.
The pickup went out of control before it hit the tree and partially overturned coming to a rest on its right side, ejecting Kyman 16 feet and pinning Crawford for more than an hour, the patrol reported. Kyman and Crawford were pronounced dead at the scene. Langston was taken by helicopter to St. Johnís hospital in Joplin, Mo., where he was listed in stable condition.
The patrol reported an odor of alcohol was detected on Kyman and he was driving at an unsafe speed. †
