Grove science students recently won top honors at the Oklahoma State Science & Engineering Fair and the Oklahoma Junior Academy of Sciences, State Meet.

Both events took place at ECU in Ada during the month of March.

Students attending the Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair included: sophomores, Matt Gallman, John Moore and Tyler Linn; and freshmen, Rachel Hole and Gregorye Epperson

Senior High Division

Matt Gallman:  Fourth in Zoology Category

John Moore:  Participation in Physics Category

Tyler Linn:  Third in Biology Category

Special Award for Best overall biomedical project, first.

Junior High Division

Rachel Hole:  First in Botany, Special Award from Society for Science and the Public, Young Scientist.

Gregorye Epperson:  Second in Environmental Sciences, Special award from Potomoc County Conservation District, First

Special Award from EPA, honorable mention.

*Rachel Hole and Gregorye Epperson’s points were calculated with GMS students, helping Grove Middle School to win the overall Team award for the Jr. High Division.
