(Joplin, MO) Ė St. Johnís Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of George P. Caralis, as interim chief executive officer following the resignation of Debbie Linnes a few weeks ago. Caralis will assume the interim role as the CEO effective July 11, following Linnesí departure.
Caralis has begun an orientation and transition process with Linnes and will work closely with the board of directors, administration and medical staff during the transition.† With more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience, he has an extensive background in strategic planning, budgeting, system development, ambulatory care, managed care and consulting.†† Caralis holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a Masters of Science in Biology from Wayne State University, and is from the Detroit area.
