Members of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and staff hosted a ribbon cutting for its newest member, KGVE 99.3 FM. The station, owned by Larry Hestand, is a 15 thousand watt country music station. The weather is offered every half hour, and national and local news at the top of the hour. Live broadcasts from the Grove Ridgerunner basketball and football games, are also offered. Those attending the ribbon cutting included Hestand, EJ Dayringer, Terri Cox and Gary Jones with KGVE; and member business representatives from RE/MAX Grand Lake, First National Bank, Grand Savings Bank, Grand River Abstract & Title Co., The Dodd Company, Grandwood Assisted Living, and Donnie Crain, president of Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.
