Members of the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce including ambassadors and staff hosted a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Aug. 9, for the Delaware County Community Partnership organization. DCCP is a collaborative gathering of local organizations who work to enhance the lives of Delaware County residents. DCCP member organizations include Abundant Blessing Center, Bridges of Hope Delaware County, Cherokee Nation, Christian H.E.L.P. Center, Community Physicians Group, Counseling Resource Services, Delaware County Department of Human Services, Delaware County Health Department, Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Grand Gateway Area Agency on Aging, Grand Lake Mental Health Center, Grove Public Schools, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital, Northeast Oklahoma Community Action Agency, Northeast Technology Center, Oklahoma Health Care Authority, OSU Extension, OU Sooner Success, ROCMND Youth Services, ROCMND Youth Services-Healthy Living Program and University of Oklahoma Healthy Hearts. Community members are encouraged to join DCCP. The organization will host the next meeting at noon, on Tuesday, Aug. 28, at INTEGRIS Grove Hospital. Those cutting the ribbon were Whitney McGhee, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital and Elizabeth West, Grand Lake Mental Health.
