This is the third year the pageant has served as a preliminary event for the Miss Oklahoma pageant, with contestants for the Miss Huckleberry and Miss Huckleberry's Outstanding Teen coming from a 150 mile radius of Jay.

The Miss pageant, ages 18 to 24, give the young women a chance to compete in talent, evening wear, interview and swim suits/physical fitness.

While the teens, ages 13 to 18, compete in talent, evening wear, interview and casual wear/physical fitness.
