Summer Reading Kickoff in Grove

The kickoff for the “Libraries Rock” Summer Reading Program at the Grove Public Library, will take place on Thursday, May 24, at the library.

The event for children and their parents takes place from 4 to 6 p.m., while a teen oriented signup takes place from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will include giant inflatables, and more.

A hot-dog fundraiser by the Friends of the Grove Library will be sold between 5 to 7 p.m. at a cost of $3 per person. It will include hot dog, chips, dessert and drink.

Libraries Rock Summer Kick-Off

Signups for the 2018 Summer Reading program at the Delaware County Library in Jay, are taking place this week.

Readers of all ages will explore all things “musical” as library officials present the “Libraries Rock” Summer Reading program. Activities will include prize drawings, story times, a reading log, group games, musical crafts, special guests and more.

Instruments Rock!

A program about instruments, including drums, maracas and harmonicas will take place at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, at the Delaware County Library. The event is free and open to the public.
