The future looks bright for Grove's track & field teams as the Junior High boys and girls showed strong performances at the Metro Lakes conference meet.

Conference champions included Borin Arnold in the Pole Vault, Bryson Martin winning both the shotput and discus, Megan Gibbs in the 800 meter run, Kaylee Shepard in the Pole Vault and Kernan Jackson in the 1600 meter run.

Placing in the top three of their events were:

7th Grade Girls

Borin Arnold - 1st Pole Vault

4 x 800 relay team - 2nd

4 x 400 relay team - 2nd

Alex Crittenden - 2nd 400 meter run

7th Grade Boys

Bryson Martin - 1st Shotput and Discus

Jesse Arnall - 2nd Shotput

8th Grade Girls

Megan Gibbs - 1st 800 meter run; 2nd Long Jump; 3rd 200 meter run

Kaylee Shepard - 1st Pole Vault

Katelyn Kraft - 2nd Pole Vault

Baylee Gregg - 3rd 300 Hurdles

Brooke Burns - 3rd High Jump

4 x 400 relay team - 3rd

8th Grade Boys

Kernan Jackson - 1st 800 meter run

Carson Tremble - 2nd 1600 meter run

In team standings the 7th grade girls finished 5th, 7th grade boys 8th, 8th grade girls 3rd and 8th grade boys 5th.
