The Delaware County Commissioners approved several invoices involving juveniles during this week's meeting on Monday, April 16.
The commissioners approved a $961.99 invoice by Eastern Oklahoma Youth Services, a $2,252.25 invoice by Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau and an invoice of $2,663.52 by the office of juvenile affairs.
Also approved was a memorandum of agreement between the state Department of Corrections and the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.
“This is just a routine contract,” said Barbara Barnes, Delaware County Court Clerk, after the meeting.
In other financial business, the commissioners approved transferring $2,000 from the county bridges and road account in District No. 3 to its travel account and filed the cash financial statement for the sheriff’s commissary profit fund from Jan. 1 to March 31.
Barnes said the account has a balance of $18,125.06.
The commissioners also approved a golf cart travel resolution for 585 Road and 585 Loop in Fisherman’s Paradise in District No. 1.
A lease purchase of a John Deere tractor was tabled due to incomplete documentation.
The commissioners also heard a presentation by Ron Maxwell with the state Department of Transportation regarding the annual certification for county roads and miles.
The commissioners recessed for an hour allowing Maxwell to attend the meeting, Barnes said.
During the presentation, the commissioners and Maxwell reviewed maps.
No action was taken after the presentation, she said.
