The Lady Ridgerunners soccer team lost to Sequoyah Claremore Eagles 0-4 on Thursday, April 5 bringing their season record to 7-4.
The Lady Eagles were able to shutout the Lady Ridgerunners after scoring early in the game with 20 mins left in the first half and again with 2:38 left.
The Lady Ridgerunners were unable to regroup during the break in the half despite playing hard.
Claremore put two more points up on the board before the end of the game finishing with a 0-4 win over the Lady Ridgerunners.
The girls had recently won against the Lady Wardogs in overtime with a 3-2 victory on April 3.
With their season record at 7-4 their losses have been to Glenpool 0-1, Sapulpa 0-5 and Siloam Springs 0-4.
The girls will play Skiatook who is 8-2 at home at 5 p.m, Tuesday, April 10.
The Ridgerunners soccer team won against Sequoyah Claremore 4-1 on Thursday following the girls game.
This brings the team record to 5-2 having had to cancel a few games due to weather.
The boys scored first against the Eagles with 13:23 on the clock in the first half of play.
The team then turned around to score another goal with 11:33 on the clock putting the Ridgerunners in a solid lead over the eagles 2-0.
After the break at the half the Eagles were able to regroup and score a goal putting them on the board with 26:11 left in the game.
In the final six minutes of play the Ridgerunners score two more goals before retiring with a win of 4-1 over the Eagles.
The boys will face off against the Skiatook boys 8-2 following the Lady Ridgerunners game.
