General obligation bonds, as well as the re-employment of certified and non-certified staff are among the items before the Grove School Board during the Tuesday, April 10 meeting.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m., at the Grove Administration building, located at the corner of Broadway and Third Street, Grove.

Among the items on the agenda, board members will consider action on determining the maturities of and setting the state, time and place for the sale of $800,000 General Obligation Transportation Equipment Bonds, and for $4,260,000 General Obligation Building Bonds.

They will also vote to consider a quote on HP Chromebooks, a quote from ClearTouch Interactive Touch Panels, and a contract with Gabbart Communication for the district, campus and teacher websites.

A service contract with Jostens will also be up for discussion.

In the executive session, the board will discuss the following employment items:

• an elementary teacher on temporary contract for the 2018-19 school year.

• a full-time day custodian.

• a slate of certified (tenured) staff for the 2018-19 school year as recommended by principals and the superintendent.

• a slate of part-time certified staff on temporary contract for the 2018-19 school year as recommended by principals and the superintendent.

• a slate of non-tenured staff on temporary or regular contracts for the 2018-19 school year as recommended by principals and the superintendent.

• consider approval a slate of 12-month support personnel, to be hired in writing by the superintendent to start on or after July 1 of this year.

• consider approval a slate of 10-month support personnel, to be hired in writing by the superintendent to start on or after July 1 of this year.

• consider approval a slate of support managers/directors, to be hired in writing by the superintendent to start on or after July 1 of this year.
