Karen Sue Reil, 73, of Fairland passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1945 in Sabetha, Kansas to Stanley and Dollie Fields George, who precedes her in passing.
While in El Monte, California, she married her husband, Jack Reil, of 54 years, on Oct. 4, 1963. They later moved to Fairland where they raised their family.

She and Jack attended Fairland First Assembly of God where she was involved in teaching Missionettes, was choir director for many years and sang in a quartet – The Glory Bound Singers. Karen was surrounded by music all her life and loved that she was able to share that with her children. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, quilting, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren.
