Members of the Grove FFA Chapter will celebrate National FFA Week now till Friday, Feb. 23, with a variety of activities.

The events began on Saturday, Feb. 17, with the Grove FFA / 4-H Chapter Livestock Show, and on a church service at Crosswired Cowboy Church in Grove on Sunday, Feb. 18.

On Tuesday, Feb. 20, student officers from the chapter will attend FFA Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol. The students are slated to meet with Senator Michael Bergstrom and Rep. Josh West.

The chapter's Teacher Appreciation Luncheon is slated to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the high school.

Throughout the week, students will also participate in a business appreciation project, for area businesses who have provided support to the chapter.

On Thursday, Feb. 22, members of the chapter will visit the Grove Lower Elementary School between fifth and seventh hour to meet with their "GLE Ag Buddies."

On Friday, Feb. 23, students will meet with the seventh graders at Grove Middle School to talk about the ag program and to recruit potential members.

The week will end on Friday night with an FFA Fun Night in the Grove Lower Elementary Gym.
