Callie Callihan and Garrett Sweeney have been tapped by their classmates to serve as the Jay High School 2018 Basketball Homecoming Queen and King, while Rachel Waeckerle and Rodney Beasley will serve as the JHS 2018 Wrestling Homecoming Queen and King.

Callihan's attendants include: Jade Frazier, senior attendant; Shae Welch, junior attendant; Bailey Callihan, sophomore attendant; and Skylar Brantley, freshman attendant.

The basketball escorts include: Gabriel Simpson, John Culver, Kobe Budder and Dalton Tanner.

Waeckerle's attendants include: Shelby Davidson, senior attendant; Breezy Stoddard, junior attendant; Sydney Matheson, sophomore attendant; and Shyan Caywood, freshman attendant.

The wrestling escorts include: Caleb Meeker, Johnny Williamson, Levi Stanford, and Zach Coy.

Coronation of the basketball homecoming royalty takes place at 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, in Bulldog Arena, when the Jay Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs face off in home conference games against Catoosa.

Coronation of the wrestling homecoming royalty takes place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Bulldog Arena, before the Bulldogs face off against Tahlequah.

The Basketball Court

Queen 

Callie Callihan - senior, daughter of Mandy and Jake Callihan.

While undecided on her career path, she plans to attend college.

Favorite thing about high school: Playing sports and all of the memories she has made with her friends and teammates.

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: getting to spend her last homecoming with her little sister, Bailey, and the other girls.

Senior Attendant 

Jade Fraizer - daughter of Richard and Genita Frazier.

She plans to go to college and pursue a career in the medical field, with the goal of becoming a physicians assistant.

Her favorite part of high school: being able to be with her friends.

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: going dress shopping, decorating and getting dressed up.

Junior Attendant 

Shae Welch - daughter of Mary Pritchett and the late Larry Pritchett Jr.

She plans to pursue a degree in physical therapy. 

Favorite thing about high school: is hanging out with her friends and playing basketball. 

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: being selected to represent my junior class.

Sophomore Attendant

Bailey Callihan - daughter of Mandy and Jake Callihan.

She plans to attend VoTech her junior and senior years of high school to pursue a degree in cosmetology. She also plans to attend college.

Favorite thing about high school: Being involved with things like student council, FCA, and playing sports. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and cheering aon the sporting teams in the student section.

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: getting to experience everything with her sister, Callie, during her senior year.

Freshman Attendant

Skylar Brantley - daughter of Tonya Phillips and Lewis Matthews.

She plans to finish high school and attend college. 

Favorite thing about high school: Hanging out with friends and getting to play basketball with an amazing group of people.

Garrett Sweeney - senior, son of Terry and Misty Sweeney.

He plans to go to college and play basketball.

He plans to go to college and pursue a career as a game warden.

He plans to goi to college and become a physical therapist.

He plans to go to college to run, and pursue an education.

Chayse Walker - 8, daughter of Matt and Whitney Walker. 

A third grader, she loves to dance and play with her dog, Wrigley.

When she grows up, she hopes to become a third grade teacher.

Holden Callihan - 6, son of Jake and Mandy Callihan.

A first grader, he likes to ride horses, rope, play cowboys and sheriff, hunt, fish and swim.

When he grows up, he wants to have his own hunting show on television.

Rachel Waeckerle - senior, daughter of Chris and Jodi Waeckerle.

She plans to cheer competitively at Missouri Valley College and either major in psychology or nursing.

Favorite thing about high school: The friendships made and the life lessoned learned along the way.

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: The memories it provides, as well as the fun and the friendships, which make things 10-times better.

Shelby Davidson - daughter of Thomas and Audra Tate and Randy and Lezley Davidson.

She plans to attend Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and pursue a degree in nursing.

Favorite thing about high school: the friendships made and the memories she will cherish.

Breezy Stoddard - daughter of Ronny Hangartner and James Stoddard.

She plans attend college to pursue a degree in medicine after high school.

Sydney Matheson - daughter of Randal and Orrise Matheson.

She plans to attend Northeastern State University where she will pursue a master's degree in speech pathology and a minor in sign language interpretation.

Favorite thing about high school: Being able to hang out with friends and being apart of different organizations and clubs, as well as being able to support our wrestlers.

Best thing about being part of the homecoming court: Being able to spend time with the girls before homecoming.

Shyan Caywood - daughter of Christie and Jonathan Alexander.

She plans to go to college.

He plans to go into the U.S. Army and attend college.

Jenna Eberle - 5, daughter of Roger and Jamie Eberle.

The K-4 student likes to play with her big sister, AJ, play with frogs and her rudolph stuffed animals.

When she grows up, she either wants to be a fish hunter (ocean explorer) or to guide Santa's sleigh - she's undecided.

Levi Summerfield - 7, son of Bob and Ashley Summerfield and Kimberly Buzzard.

The first grader likes to build forts, do back flips on the trampoline, play the xBox, go to school, ride dirt bikes, hunt, play catch, and gig crawdads.

When he grows up, he wants to wrestle for OU and work on the road and weld.
