Rebecca Lucille Williams-Ervin, 68, Eucha, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at her residence with her family by her bedside. '

Lucille was born on April 12, 1949 in Jay, to Burl Jacob Williams and Lydia Ann Raven Williams.

Lucille was a graduate of the Class of 1967 at  Jay High School. She was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Halterman in Jay, for many years. Most recently, Lucille worked with the Delaware County Friendship Home in Jay.

She loved crafting with her six sisters, and loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandson.

She was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, and a member of the Cherokee Nation. Lucille put her whole heart and soul into helping and being active with her church family.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Lydia Williams; siblings, Calvin, Chester and Cherokee.

Lucille is survived by her companion, Don King of Eucha; daughter, Stephanie Woods of Grove; son, Stephen Ervin of Eucha; granddaughters, Sidney Ervin of St. Croix, USVI, and Katelyn Ervin of Eucha; grandsons, Kaden Livermore of Grove, and Garett Ervin of Jay; great-grandson, Tobias Hinkel of St. Croix, USVI; siblings, Betty Williams of Eucha, Dutch Williams of Jay, Carrie Buzzard of Grove, Wilma Spears of Eucha, Linda Newlin of Bloomingdale, Indiana, Johnny Williams of Langley, Joetta Tidwell of Eucha, Sonny Williams of Jay and Sandy Price of Jay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lucille’s family visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Lawson’s Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay.

Lucille’s celebration of life, graveside funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14,  at New Eucha Cemetery, Eucha, with the Rev. Jess Williams officiating. Burial will follow at New Eucha Cemetery in Eucha.
