The Grove School Board approved a resolution during a special meeting on Thursday, Dec. 7, to put a special election before voters in order to seek approval of an $800,000 transportation bond.

The election will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

If voters approve the bond, the school officials hope to purchase six buses and possibly two suburban vehicles.

The proposed tax increase is around $20 a year.

Board member Jerry Crossley was not present for the meeting.
