Tallulah C. Marshall, 80, a longtime Fairland resident passed away at her home on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017.
Tallulah was born on Jan. 9, 1937 in Fairland, to Lee “Mutt” Owen and Delcie (Adams) Williams.
On June 3, 1954, she married her husband of 60 years Gene Marshall; he preceded her in passing Feb. 28, 2015.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch; she was an avid bowler, but, was an all around sports fan. She loved her Fairland Owls.
She also enjoyed her pool, playing cards and her family. Tallulah was preceded in passing by her parents Mutt and Delcie Williams, a daughter Kathy Elaine Marshall.
Survivors include her son Kenny Marshall and his wife Diana of Fairland, their children and grandchildren, Amanda Prescott and her husband David, their children are Blake, Grady, Evan and Kendall, Megan Marshall and her children Karsten and Kyndric, her daughter Krista Oakley and her husband Steve, their children Kathy and her children Taylor and Kambry, Stephanie Oakley, Brandon Oakley and his wife Tiffany, their children Natalie, Melanie, Callie and Rylie, Shelby Foster and her husband Thomas, their children Kendyle and Kylie, her son Kent Marshall and his wife Stacie and their son Dakota Marshall. Her sibling’s Billy and Juanita Williams and Reena Cox.
Services took place at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16, at Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch, with interment following at Fairland Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
Casket bearers were Brandon Oakley, Steve Oakley, Dakota Marshall, Kevin Rowley, David Prescott and Joe Clapp.
Honorary casket bearers were her great-grandsons Blake Prescott, Grady Prescott, Karsten Wickliffe, Evan Prescott, Kyndric Wickliffe and Kendall Prescott.
