A pursuit of suspects in a stolen vehicle that began in Neosho, Missouri at 3:03 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, ended in Wyandotte and resulted in the arrest of two Missouri men.
Ottawa County Sheriff Jeremy Floyd said members of his department, along with other Ottawa County law enforcement agencies, joined a pursuit of a stolen vehicle initiated in Neosho when the vehicle entered Oklahoma on Highway 60.
“At the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 10 in Wyandotte, stop sticks were deployed by Wyandotte Nation Police Department successfully causing the stolen vehicle to come to a stop," Floyd said. "Authorities arrested two suspects from the stolen vehicle."
The driver of the vehicle, Trevor J. Palmer, 21, of Neosho, was arrested and charged in Oklahoma with possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop at a roadblock, speeding, reckless driving, crossing the center lane of traffic, and eluding a police officer.
Palmer's passenger, Gage M. Rasson, 25, of Granby, Missouri, was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding a police officer.
