It was a battle to the finish as the Arvest Jumping Jacks took on the Grand Savings Badonkeydonks on Sunday, Oct. 1, for the fourth consecutive year.
In the end, with a tied score of 16 to 16, the Arvest team proved victorious - when team member Shaunda Larmon won the deciding foot race.
The event, a fundraiser for the Jay High School choral department, was organized by Tonya Ruddick. This is the first time in four years the Arvest team, coached by Whitney Walker, beat the Grand Savings team coached by Fawna Robertson.
"We just went out and whipped them," Walker said with a laugh. "We strategized and went out to get the win."
