Trailing 12-1 in the top of the fourth quarter, Oaks Abbi Stopp smashed a hit into the Bluejacket outfield to finish a 12-0 run to score the winning run to help Oaks Lady Warriors to their first district championship in three years with the 13-12 win on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Oaks had beaten Braggs 12-0 and Bluejacket 12-1 earlier in the tournament to reach the championship game.

Bluejacket had scored three runs in the first, two runs in the second, six in the third and one in the top of the fourth to take 12-1 lead.
Tigris Quinn had given Oaks their lone run in the first inning before they started the rally in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Abbi Stopp and Harlie Mckie started the rally in the bottom of the fourth scoring runs for Oaks. Stopp smashed a home run to left field to further ignite the Lady Warriors also scoring Alyssa Cummings in the process to cut the Bluejacket lead to 12-5.
The rally continued in the sixth with Quinn, Alyssa Cummings and Shayla Rill coming home to score and cut the lead to 12-8.
Oaks finished the rally in the bottom of the seventh inning with Jaiden Beaver, Aliegha Dry scoring to put the Lady Warriors within two points of tying the game.
Quinn blasted a two run home run to bring in Mattie Soldier and tie the game. Stopp then with two outs hit the walk off single that scored Alli McCullen and bring Oaks the championship.
Quinn finished with two hits in the game, as did Stopp and Rill to lead Oaks at the plate. Stopp was also the winning pitcher for the Lady Warriors.

Oaks took a 4-0 after the first inning on runs from McCullen, Alyssa Cummings, Stopp and McKie. They moved their lead to 6-0 after McCullen and Cummings came home in the second inning to score.
Bluejacket scored their lone run in the fourth inning while Oaks added a run when Stopp scored.
The Lady Warriors finalized their scoring in the run-rule win with five runs in the fifth. Quinn, McCullen, Cummings, Stopp and Dry all crossed home plate for Oaks.

Oaks scored seven runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead. Quinn and McCullen scored after being hit by a pitch to reach base. Alyssa Cummings, Stopp, McKiee, Beaver and Ashley Cummings also scored for Oaks.
Five runs in the second inning finalized the scoring for the Lady Warriors. Alyssa Cummings, Stopp, Beaver, Dry and Ashley Cummings all crossed home plate for Oaks.
When the regional tournament pairings were released Monday, Sept. 25 Oaks found out the team would head to Whitesboro for the Class B regional tournament.
The Lady Warriors will take on seventh ranked LeFlore at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28. Host Whitesboro, ranked 16th in the final poll of the season, will play 11th ranked Moss at noon.
Games will continue Friday. The regional champion will move onto the state tournament.
