Members of the Keith Brother Quartet, along with an assortment of family and friends, will take part in the monthly gospel sing, Saturday, Sept. 30, at First Assembly of God in Grove.

The quartet began singing in 1965 and has continued its singing ministry for the past 51 years.

The Keith family consists of parents Al and Bonnie Keith, sister, Carrie, and six brothers: Bud, David, Roland, Ron and twins Ed and Ted.

All of the family members have taken part in the quartet or family singing group.

The current quartet consists of Bud, Ron, Ted and Roland, singing, and Ed who plays piano.

Often some of their children, nieces and nephews join in both vocally and with additional instruments.

The Keith Brothers and their family believe "that the message in the enduring hymns and southern Gospel classics can still greatly impact many people's lives."
