Members of the Grove High School Varsity Cheerleading competition team placed second on Saturday, Sept. 16, during the regional competition.

The team, will perform at 1:40 p.m., at Loyd Noble Arena in Norman. Cost is $7 per person for admittance.

During the state competition, the team will face the following Class 5A schools: Coweta, McAlester, Collinsville, Glenpool, Tahlequah, Eisenhower, Chickasha, Pryor, Claremore, Skiatook, Bishop McGinness and Altus.

The team will perform facing west, spectators may enter the arena on either the east or north side (Jenkins or Imhoff Street) entrances. The arena is located at 2900 South Jenkins Avenue, Norman.

Kelsey Rhine serves as the coach. The team members include: Taesi Stroud, Lani Goldner, Bailey Pittman, DeLaynie Poindexter, Taya Durbin, Kalley Hacker, Ally Manicom, Ally Thomas, Kelsey Honeycutt, Alyssa Perry, Claire White, Emma Raines, Katy Yauch, Clarissa Crockett, Savannah Crouse, Emeli Patterson, Danielle Kelly and Zoee Rowland.
